Cricket Specific Fitness Program’s

Winter Program 2014

FitSport Cricket will be running an off season conditioning program for cricketers who want to prepare themselves physically for next season.

Fitness plays a vital role in fulfilling your potential and is a crucial part of elite training. Fit cricketers have better concentration skills, are less prone to injury, perform on consecutive days and maintain technique under fatigue

My program will run 17 weeks with three periodised training blocks

  1. Training block 1: developing an aerobic base
  2. Training block 2: specific conditioning focusing on the anaerobic energy system
  3. Training block 3: speed and agility
  4. Each training block will involve core conditioning exercises

Also including  initial and post fitness tests

Program Details

  • Date: commencing Thursday May 8 and every Thursday through to August 28
  • Location: Reed Park Dapto
  • Time: 4.30 – 5.30pm
  • Cost: $10 per session or bulk 17 sessions for $120 (saving $50)
  • Each participant to bring own water
  • Each participant to complete a pre exercise questionnaire
